Vintage Motorcycle Boots

Many people like vintage motorcycles, vintage motorcycle leathers, as well as vintage motorcycle boots. Classic looks just never go out of style.

Vintage motorcycle boots fall into two categories.

The first is true vintage boots, meaning they were made a long time ago. Motorcycle boots are often made of leather and leather can last a long time. It holds up very well if cared for by the previous owner or owners. However biking is also hard on boots with plenty of wear and tear which is why relatively few true vintage motorcycle boots are in use today. Note that boots can be repaired, for example resoled, extending their life.

You also might get lucky and find brand new vintage boots if you look around long enough.

The second is Vintage Style Motorcycle Boots, meaning new boots made in a classic, timeless style. As mentioned above, classic looks never go out of style.

Plenty of well known and respected boot manufacturers make vintage style boots. These might be labeled "vintage" as for example Tourmaster's Vintage Mens Motorcycle Road Boots, or perhaps described as "classic." Or they may simply have a classic, vintage, and timeless look like many of Harley Davidson's boots.

It's interesting that Vintage Full Bore boots by Sidi were used in Battlestar Galactica, the television series.

Vintage motorcycle jackets and leathers are much more common than boots. Why? They simply receive less wear and tear for somewhat obvious reasons and last much longer!
